The World Padel Tour 2023 calendar is now official
The World Padel Tour 2023 calendar is presented with a large number of dates marked on the calendar. The roadmap for the circuit is now official. A total of 27 tournaments will take place this year in the men's and women's categories.
The kick-off will be in Abu Dhabi. The capital of the United Arab Emirates will host the circuit for the first time and will take place from 20 to 26 February. At that precise moment, the two-month wait will come to an end, a wait that has been endured with the usual gloom and emptiness of the hiatus between seasons.
After the conclusion of the opening tournament, America has a gap in the 2023 calendar with three matches. La Rioja (Argentina), Santiago de Chile and Asunción (Paraguay) will take centre stage on the other side of the pond from 6-26 March. Once the South American tour is over, the best padel will land in Spain, where there will be 13 events throughout the year. The first of them will be the Reus Challenger, followed by the Granada Open 100.
Last minute changes in the calendar forced the withdrawal of Stockholm as a stop on the way to the Barcelona Master Final. This affected the Estrella Damm Madrid Master, the Santander and Menorca Opens and the Albacete Challenger. All of them suffered changes to the calendar, which has now been definitively presented.
The World Padel Tour 2023 calendar will be made up of a total of one Master Final, five Masters, seventeen Open 1000 and four Open 500.
Throughout the nine months that it will last, the World Padel Tour calendar will visit a total of 14 countries. Arab Emirates, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, France, Finland, Germany, Holland, Sweden and Mexico. The most international padel will travel again, spreading the magic and talent of the best in the world throughout the stands.
The big final party will take place from 14 to 17 December in Barcelona. Barcelona will once again host the meeting of the best and most consistent players of the year. Past tournaments will be left behind when all the firewood will be on the grill to decide the true masters.
